Spoatyahr Fesht — Fall Festival

Fall Festival — Plan to Attend
Our Annual Event will be held on September 14 and 15, 2019 from Noon to 6 PM each day. There are many new displays to take a look at both inside the hotel and in our outbuildings. For the first time we are able to display farm equipment in the top of the barn so this is a new area for you to explore. This also frees up room in our display shed for other exhibits so be sure to check it out too. Check back for more information as we get closer to the date.

Fall Festival 2018 Update
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Festival. Saturday was a beautiful day and in spite of the weather we had a good turn out for Sunday as well. For those who couldn’t attend either because of a scheduling conflict or the weather we invite you to an Open House on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Many of the items in our Vintage Toy and Bittner Descendant displays are on temporary loan so come see them while the displays are still available. Hope to see you there!

Our annual Fall Festival was held on September 9 and 10, 2017 from Noon to 6 PM each day. We featured some of the items in our collections in a display and had some “What Is It?s” for yo to try your hand at identifying. The quilters were busy quilting in the hotel and the children’s activities were very busy. We had great weather for both days of the festival and it brought out great attendance. Music was provided by “Big Valley Bluegrass” on Saturday and “We3” on Sunday. The watermelon eating contest drew many attendees to sign up each day. We carried over our ideas from our annual basket social and raffled off 17 baskets. A great weekend was had by all.

Our annual Fall Festival was held on September 10 and 11, 2016 from Noon to 6 PM each day. Our theme for this year is “Hotels in Weisenberg and Lowhill Townships, Past and Present.” This year instead of having to deal with rain we had 95 degree plus weather on Saturday. despite the heat, our wonderful members, volunteers and visitors came out to eat great food, listen to good music by “Country Rhythm” and “Jack and Friends” and look at the new displays in our hotel.
The festival is open to everyone with no general admission and no charge for parking. In addition to great exhibits, food, and entertainment, the hotel/museum, library and store are all open both days. There are many activities for the youngsters including crafts, games and animals to view.
